Who are we? And what are we doing here? Meet our team, see why we do what we do, and get to know our whole deal

Performance psychology is the key to unlocking performance across sector and industry, and our purpose is to guide and educate and partner with our clients to thrive and flourish, whatever the endeavour.
We are experts in human psychology and behaviour, human performance, educating individuals, teams, businesses, and collectives, supporting them with psychological and behavioural insights that demystify how we function and work together, to achieve and flourish.
We take the view that it is an incredible privilage to be a human being here in this world. It is incredible and exceedingly unlikely that any of us would ever have been here at all, or that such a 'here' that looks like this planet should even exist. But despite the odds, they do, and each of us are a unique and complex miracle. We have such amazing potential and capability to thrive and perform.
The factors that enable us to achieve our potential in any endeavour, and achieve top performance, are inherently psychological. Demystifying how we actually work, and understanding the levers that we have available to us, makes it so much easier to deliberately and mindfully fulfil our performance potential, and thrive.
We see a world where human beings are appreciated more for their strengths than their shortcomings.
Where we make decisions that are in the best interests of the human beings involved.
A world that we shape using what we know about human beings, to sustainably support and enable human beings to thrive.
eyeYou takes the role of educator and advisor in this world, relentlessly showing the world the evidence-based coolness of humanity.
There are so many things that drive and guide how we do our work, and how the things that we value show up day to day. But we can sum them up fairly well with these five values.
Courage
We value courage - the courage to do hard things, scary things, unfamiliar things.
We value having the courage to challenge ourselves, to constantly learn and grow, to discover and honour our identity and empathise with those around us, and in doing the right thing even if its scary. It takes courage to seek out and engage in your learning, to be deliberate in your empathy for others, to know who you are and own who that is, and to try new things and ways of doing things.
Learning
We value learning – relentlessly educating and challenging ourselves to know and do better.
Learning is one of those things that human beings are uniquely good at, and we believe that every decision or action includes a learning of some kind. When something feels hard or uncomfortably confusing, there is a strong chance that we are about to learn something, and humans legitimately find learning to be rewarding. We value pushing through that discomfort.
Empathy
We value empathy – sincerely curious, and kind, and positive.
Remaining curious and taking an empathetic view can be so challenging, but stands as one of our most critical superpowers. We value empathy and positivity as a competitive advantage, and it shows up in how we are with everybody that we encounter, the decisions that we make, how we solve problems, and how we speak to ourselves.
Identity
We value identity – we are each so unique, and nothing takes that away from any of us.
Our identities are one of the only things that we can truly say is ours, and that is what makes every person here in this world with us super cool and special. We value the individual and unique perspectives, experiences, and strengths that we each own, and this shows up in all of our work and interactions, and with each other. It can take great courage to know who you are and wear it on your sleeve, and enormous empathy to see and value others' true identities.
Tools
We value tools – tool use literally sets us apart as a species and has been helping us solve more and more complex problems as the millennia roll on.
From knapping flint to make stone tools, to strapping tensors together to make large language models and AI tools, humans have been bending the world to their wills using complex tools for 300,000 years. Whether its profiling and psychometrics, or surveys, or technology and AI driven learning, or those tongs with the longer handles for when you use the BBQ, we happily use the right tool for the job.

He has been lucky enough through his career so far to have been able to put his deep expertise in personality, cognitive abilities, and statistical analyses, into practice as a psychometrician and psychometric assessment expert - from test development, validation & maintenance, to imnplementation, interpretation, and debriefing. Through his consulting career of the past decade he has also been fortunate enough to be able to pass on his knowledge of human psychology through workplace consulting and countless training sessions & programs, coaching, cultural reviews and development, engagement surveys and other specific and custom surveys, and probably a bunch of other things too.
He thinks that human psychology is one of the coolest things that a person can learn. He is correct on this.
