The Psychlopedia

Alexandria

Named for the ancient world's home of knowledge, Alexandria is where we publish resources and writing on the world of psychology and performance, psychometrics, and human behaviour.

Alexandria

The Psychlopedia

Alexandria is your home of knowledge and resources for everything psychology and performance. Here you will find our blog (like it's the 90s or something), longer articles for something more substantial, and our Topics & Resources repository.

We know that it can be challenging to separate the truth from slop on the world wide web, especially now as it begins to approach trustworthiness levels not seen since the days of the wild west when the internet was born. In response to this our Topics & Resources section is intended to serve as a trusted source of knowledge and learning. Where possible we provide primary sources and citations to allow you to trace back as far as necessary, and where this is not possible we simply do not post.

Our single source of truth for psychology and performance knowledge.

Levers of Performance

Human performance is inherently psychological in nature. It is driven by 6 separate but interrelated factors, that each uniquely shape the psychological variables that drive performance.

Below is the eyeYou model of the Levers of Human Performance. These levers pull together and frame collective and contemporary psychological, peer reviewed research into descrete levers that provide understanding, and enable action to change and adjust. This model gives us the lenses and framework needed to flourish as human beings, whatever we are doing.

Making sense of otherpeople and workingcollaboratively

This instance of the model of the Levers of Human Performance is set up to display only one of its lenses, the Human Lens. To see the System Perspective, or the Neurodivergent Lens, follow the link to the Performance Levers Hub.
