We are about as excited as a royal 'we' can get to let you know about some of the exciting updates to our product suite here at eyeYou. These span a number of concerns across the assessment and psychometric testing areas, and there is something there for everybody with advances on the availability of our psychometric testing and survey services at commercial capacities, as well as for individuals looking for personal insights. There has been quite a lot of development and final user acceptance testing going on. 

Career Lens

You may have already seen our update on Career Lens. This is a personality assessment experience that is open and free to the public, and is designed to help you to plot your career path, or pivot, or leap, by mapping your personality factors and outcomes to the careers and occupational groups who's 'on average' scores for those already in the role sits closest to your own.

Benchmark scores for the career mapping all come from published research, and those score trends are what combines occupational groups together, so 263 ISCO-08 classified occupational profiles (at 4 digit code level, IYKYK) group into 46 occupational Archetypes, and those roll up into 6 role Families. This makes for some surprising and fascinating roles sharing archetypes, with similarities in behavioural drivers and personality shape that are equally fascinating and can help to spark inspiration or find new insights and ways to reframe your strengths into different career contexts. We have made the early decision to provide the base-level output of all lenses to the public free of charge, which provides a dep level of insight and value to anybody at all who decides to take it. The premium version is also available for purchase for a fee, which goes into further depth on the matched archetypes and their interpretations and recommendations, which include for every over or under-utilised facet strength across up to 4 natural fits:

• and reading material

This tool is perfect for those who are deciding to undertake (or have been more or less forced to take) a pivot or new direction in their careers and are looking for food for thought on possibilities. Likewise for Career Coaching and those taking work on the career transition space, the lens operates as a scientifically robust instrument, that takes a candidate/participant sensitive approach to inspire, reframe, and boost confidence in our strengths and capabilities. Psychometric Testing & Surveys

In parallel to the above, we have been working tirelessly to refine and polish our pre-employment / selection psychometric testing platform, which also happens to be our organisational survey platform. 

Our proprietary personality inventory Oracular is available for selection testing and screening, to bolster your selection process and assessment of candidates, to provide a further category of objective and comparable data that will help to understand likely fit and comfort with the role, team, and broader culture, directly mapping relevant personality outcomes to standardised profiles for the role, with insights into where they land relative to requirements, and tips on regulating and developing where gaps emerge.
